Questions & answers
What is bac water used for?
Bac water is used to reconstitute (mix) freeze-dried research peptides. The 0.9% benzyl alcohol stops bacteria growing, so one vial can be drawn from several times.
Is bacteriostatic water the same as sterile water?
No. Both are sterile, but bacteriostatic water also contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which keeps it usable after the first draw. Plain sterile water should be used once and thrown away.
How fast will my order arrive?
Order before 6pm and it ships the same day by Royal Mail Tracked 24. Most UK orders arrive the next working day.
How do I track my order?
We email you a Royal Mail tracking link as soon as your order ships.
What purity is Bacteriostatic Water?
Bacteriostatic Water is sterile, 0.9% benzyl alcohol and supplied as sterile solution, 10ml vial. You can read the lab report at the top of this page.
How should it be stored?
Store at room temperature, away from light. Keep it sealed until you mix it. Once mixed, keep it in the fridge.
